Lunar New Year 2026 – Las Vegas

Bellagio Conservatory Lunar New Year display - year of the fire horse 2026

While technically the Lunar New Year started on February 17th, 2026 and these displays in Vegas have since been changed out until next year – I still wanted to share before it got too far in the past! (And yes, I’m aware that this is considered the Chinese New Year – but the displays are branded as “Lunar” so please don’t come for me over this like the TT crowd did -_-).

I definitely have a soft spot for the Lunar New Year (LNY) displays in Vegas! Maybe it’s because my first trip was during this time last year and that was my first encounter of the beautiful Bellagio Conservatory. But I must say – the 2026 display for the Year of the (Fire) Horse was absolutely GORGEOUS! The shimmery, flame colored horses, the waterfalls, money trees, koi, etc. It blended together beautifully. Unlike my visit during the Year of the Snake display, I got to take it all in with not a single soul in the conservatory! I didn’t get as many photos last year because it was packed with people, but I’ve since learned the magical time frame where no one is around. I definitely also prefer the ambiance of the conservatory at night! The glass ceiling lets in tons of natural light during the day, and changes the mood for sure.

The Aria hotel & casino brought their own version of the LNY with their giant dragon sprawling across the sky in the lobby! It was almost impossible to capture the entire thing – even in panoramic mode. Below the dragon was a horse statue adorned with real citrus fruits and orchid flowers. Same with the Buddha statue that’s in another area – filled with fresh flowers and tiny citrus trees (kumquat?)! And who can forget the horse statue near the patisserie that was made from actual food?! Simply stunning attention to detail – exactly what you’d expect in Las Vegas!

I’ll keep this one short, so enjoy the rest of the photos ^_^
